Latino Professional Network Launches LPNOnline.com at Century Club Celebration!
Over 600 Latino professionals, community leaders, and dignitaries crowded into the Century Club in Century City to celebrate the launch of the Latino Professional Network’s new website, LPNONLINE.COM!
The event spotlighted the LPN’s goal of empowering the Latino professional and student community, as well as the community at large, through the use of technology. The site stands as one of the few online resource centers for Latino professionals currently in the nation. LPNONLINE.COM empowers the expansive Latino population in Southern California and beyond by providing them with powerful and innovative tools. For example, the LPN PROFESSIONAL DIRECTORY enables users to register their “Professional Profile Pages” ONLINE. The Directory represents a “Latino Yellow Pages” of sorts, allowing members to advertise their business online. Additionally, the Directory serves as a 24 hour Online Networking Tool. Users can find a job, communicate with others who share similar interests, find a long lost college roommate, announce their candidacy for public office- the possibilities are endless!
Alejandro Menchaca, President of the Latino Professional Network is excited about the possibility of reaching out to Latino professionals and students throughout the nation:

Unlike other websites which built the technology and then had a difficult time tapping into a community of users, the LPN first established a network of over 12,000 Latino professionals and students which we now use a springboard for both online and offline expansion”, says Robert Ramirez, LPN Co-Founder and Director of Community Affairs.
Alejandro Menchaca adds, “Coming at the aftermath of the Latino dot com fall out, VC funding and IPO’s are really not our immediate concerns.
