Consulate General of Israel & Latino Professional Network Present Mi Tierra, Ha’Aretz, and Los Angeles

FEATURING

ROB ESHMAN, EDITOR OF THE JEWISH JOURNAL &

FRANK DEL OLMO, ASSOCIATE EDITOR OF THE LOS ANGELES TIMES

WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 5, 2001
9:00 AM

WILSHIRE TEMPLE
MEITOUS HALL
3663 Wilshire Blvd.

The Consulate General of Israel and the Latino Professional Network cordially invite you to attend a very special Breakfast Forum, titled “MI TIERRA, HA’ARETZ, AND LOS ANGELES”. Guest speakers, Rob Eshman, Editor of the Jewish Journal, and Frank Del Olmo, Associate Editor of the Los Angeles Times, will discuss the ties that the Israeli, Jewish, and Latino communities living in Los Angeles have toward Israel and Latin America. The roundtable discussion will address the diverse social, political, economic, and cultural implications that result from a community maintaining its heart in two places.

This is the first of a series of Breakfast Forums hosted by the Consulate General of Israel and the LPN. Cognizant of the great diversity that exists in Los Angeles and the need for our respective communities to work together, both host organizations launched this series of forums in order to facilitate greater interaction between the Latino, Jewish, and Israeli professional communities. These forums provide a unique opportunity to hear a number of prominent speakers discuss such topics as doing business with each other, the current state of politics in Los Angeles, coalition building, and the entertainment industry. Additionally, these forums provide a great opportunity for all attendees to network in an informal setting.

A delicious kosher breakfast will be provided by Chana’s Cuisine. The cost to attend is $10 per person. To attend, you MUST RSVP at (213) 972-0877 and send payment by September 3, 2001. Please make checks payable to “Latino Professional Network” and send to:

We look forward to you joining us for Breakfast!
