Inspired by the passion, allure, and romance of Southern Spain, the Latino Professional Network ("LPN") transforms Old Town Pasadena's most beautiful venue with dramatic red lighting, rose petals, and the dramatic sounds of Flamenco! Villa Sorriso is a modern-day Mediterranean Villa featuring a cascading waterfall, white linen cabanas, towering trees in its courtyard, sleek martini bar, upstairs Zebra lounge, and Venetian Lounge. Also, for this special event, in order to accommodate the estimated capacity, a beautiful event space will be created behind Villa Sorriso to create an amazing outdoor, summer experience.

This space will include lounge seating, colorful lighting, dance floor, and live entertainment! Each unique space at Villa Sorriso will set the stage for an evening filled with the intensity, energy, and exhilaration of Flamenco Dancers, the flavorful and refreshing taste of Complimentary Red and White Sangria, Complimentary Spanish/ Latin Wine Tasting, the sounds of strumming Flamenco Guitars performed by a Flamenco Ensemble, Complimentary Spanish Tapas, Live Salsa ensemble "Lucky 7", DJ, and more!

LPN's is pleased to announce its new Spotlight Charity, ENCOMPASS, which sparks compassion, personal responsibility, appreciation of differences among California teenagers through innovative programs. LPN plans to provide financial support/ donation for ENCOMPASS this summer and also bring awareness to the amazing work of this organization. Representatives from ENCOMPASS will address attendees.)

 The evening's festivities include:

LIVE FLAMENCO ENSEMBLE (6:30pm- 8:30pm) As guests arrive at Villa Sorriso's courtyard which will be covered in rose petals and bathed in the romantic glow of red lighting, they will be greeted with the sounds of a LIVE FLAMENCO ENSEMBLE. The romantic sounds of flamenco will segue into a lively Rumba Flamenco show in the style of Gyspy Kings!

COMPLIMENTARY SANGRIA (6:30pm- 8:30pm) Emotional and dramatic Spanish rhythms and melodies will create an exhilarating musical backdrop as you enjoy COMPLIMENTARY RED AND WHITE SANGRIA from 6:30pm- 8:30pm! Complimentary servings of this ever-popular marriage of red wine and fresh fruit will be sure to please and serve as a refreshing complement to the evening's wine tasting.

From 6:30pm to 8:30pm, guests can also enjoy a COMPLIMENTARY SPANISH/ LATIN WINE TASTING! Enjoy complimentary servings of an assortment of wines from Spain, as well as wines from Argentina and Chile.  Wine Tasting will be featured at stations located in the event space created adjacent to Villa Sorriso.

LIVE FLAMENCO DANCE PERFORMANCE AT 8:00pm! In commemoration of Spain's "La Bienal De Sevilla", FLAMENCO DANCERS will the set the stage on fire with and extended sets at 8:00pm. Characterized by intense emotional singing, hand clapping, pounding footwork, and flamboyant guitar showmanship, the flamenco is a true Spanish art form.

VERONICA LOREN OF "AUGUST EVENING" WILL GRACE THE STAGE WITH AN AMAZING PERFORMANCE!

VERONICA LOREN is the star of "August Evening" which will open in theaters this summer! This film is the recipient of the Independent Spirit Award. Veronica is also a gifted songstress and during an interlude, will perform an amazing set of ballads and Latin pop! Veronica Loren is poised to be the next great Latina leading lady in the tradition of Selma Hayek, Penelope Cruz, and Eva Longoria, so catch her performance at 8:30pm in an intimate setting.

COMPLIMENTARY TAPAS will be available beginning at 6:30pm. These complimentary appetizers will be served exclusively through tray passing and will be available while supplies last. 

LIVE SALSA by "LUCKY 7" (9:15pm- 11:15pm) Live ensemble "Lucky 7" will perform a blistering set of its popular brand of salsa, merengue, cumbias, and more! LUCKY 7 is taking the LA salsa scene by storm with its style of salsa which fuses the old-school feel of New York Mambo! So, bring your dance shoes as well as your business cards!

A DJ playing the best in salsa, merengue, cumbias, hip-hop, reggeton, disco, and more will close out the evening playing until 1:30am!

Over the past nine years, LPN Networking Events have created and strengthened networking and business relationships, as well as long-lasting friendships among Latino professionals and professionals from all backgrounds and cultures.
